Jen Dean is a freelance copywriter and stay-at-home mom to three young boys. She writes a human-interest guest column for a local newspaper and is currently at work on a diet and fitness self-help book (strictly for her own personal use), two novels and a memoir–not necessarily in that order.

She has recently made the mind-blowing discovery that her Ch’i (Chinese for “life force”) derives from all things “ch-” including her children, chocolate, champagne, cheesy poofs chatting, Chicago (the city and the musical), all things cheese and Channing Tatum—again, not necessarily in that order.

Jen lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her boys and her husband, John, who prefers to be addressed as: “Hey, Deaner” in an “Ali Landry from Varsity Blues” southern drawl (they were made for each other).

You can also find her in “Martinis and Motherhood: Tales of Wonder, Woe and WTF” available on Amazon:
